Swimming

Today I went swimming! It was really fun, even though I can't swim very well :) But it still was a great experiance. I had a lot of fun and I think I'm getting better at swimming. Hopefuly we will be joining the swim club and we will be going there more often. Swimming is something that I really want to learn and be good at. But I know that it will take practice and time but if we do join I know that by the end of the summer I will be good at it.

Exhibition

The Exhibition was a fascinating experience. Being from a IB PYP school, each year we learn 6 different units of inquiry. The Exhibition is our last and for this unit we chose what we want to study by ourselves. I had chosen to study the genocide in Dafur. I wanted to use this subject because I wanted to make a change and help the people. SO we put on a play about what it is like in Darfur and what we can do to help. We will also have a bake sale and all our profits will go to help the people in Dafur.
P.S. Like the background we painted? (Me and Andrew)

Hershey Park, PA

Hershey park was a blast! I loved everything they had to offer, from the rides to the chocolate museum. It was so much fun i never wanted to leave. The rides were truly amazing at first we went on rides such as the Merry-Go-Round and Star ship America that were fun but tame. Then in the afternoon, we went on the wild mouse and the voyage of the falcon and boy were they scary! The Wild Mouse was a ride where you travel to the top and come down in small levels. But the trick is that it is a fast paced ride that makes you feel that you are about to fall every time you reach and edge. The voyage of the fallcon was a ride that had 4 different branches and 5 branches on each branch, it takes you up into the air and swings you wildly. You were caged in but had no seat belt, there were also holes on the cage that made you feel as if you were about to fall out. There was also a great ride that we went on about 4 times called Reese's extreme cup challenge, they placed you indoors in a dark ride while they moved you in cars. As you move along you have to shoot the yellow circles with things trying to block it, but after you shoot it it turns orange and then if you shoot it again you get extra points. Oh yeah and how can i forget the classic bumper cars? I must say that that is one of my favorite rides of all time, who can resist this classic? So overall from the fast paced roller coasters to the tame rides, to the classics. On a scale of 1-10 I would give Hershey Park an...100!
